“Like I said before, I joined your beginner class even though I have been doing Torchon for over two years and figured I already knew the basics and would just watch to make sure I had the stitches named correctly, etc. Seems every book is different. It wasn’t much fun just watching so I decided to work along with you through the class. I was sure that I really wouldn’t learn anything new with this first little strip, after all I had done a hundred of them. Well, I must tell you.....I was so wrong. Something as simple as putting the twists in the right place and pulling the passive threads the correct way makes the work look so much more professional. It was the details most books and tutorials don’t bother with. It’s the neatest looking work I have ever done even though the bobbins were tied together at the top, there were only 8 pair and the thread was Lizbeth #20. You are very good and easy to follow.
